How to dispose of common items in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville
Mattresses, couches and household furniture
Furniture and other eligible bulky items can use the monthly collection. Place items on the property near the street without blocking traffic; remove sharp protruding nails or screws. Large household furniture should remain manageable as an individual item.
Appliances, electronics, paint, propane and other special items
Refrigerant appliances are not an ordinary bulky item; the city directs them to an ecocentre or GoRecycle route. The ecocentre also handles electronics, tires, metals and other special streams under its posted rules.
Renovation, construction and yard debris
Construction and renovation debris, including pallets, is directed to the ecocentre rather than the monthly bulky collection. The site accepts project materials such as construction debris and wood under its current sorting rules.
