Mattresses, couches and household furniture

The city also provides a regular bulky-item collection during the first full week of each month on the household’s normal collection day. Items should be out by 6 a.m. on collection day or after 7 p.m. the previous evening. The ecocentre remains the better route for items that do not fit the curbside rules.

Appliances, electronics, paint, propane and other special items

Renovation, construction and yard debris

Accepted construction and demolition materials include wood, drywall, aggregates under the posted size limit, doors and windows, flooring, shingles and glass. Earth, stone, sand and turf are also handled under the site’s material rules.
