How to dispose of common items in Leduc
Mattresses, couches and household furniture
The Eco Station is best for smaller extra-waste and diversion trips. For furniture, mattresses or a full cleanout load, use the larger regional waste-management facility rather than trying to fit the material into the Eco Station system.
Appliances, electronics, paint, propane and other special items
The Eco Station accepts household hazardous waste, electronics and other designated diversion materials. Keep those separate from the paid extra-garbage stream.
Renovation, construction and yard debris
Construction and renovation material should go to the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility. The city also maintains a separate yard-waste transfer route for organic material.
