LOCAL DISPOSAL OPTIONS
How to dispose of common items in Edson
Mattresses, couches and household furniture
Furniture and mattresses can be taken to the landfill. Mattresses have a published per-unit fee, so keep them separate from general waste at the scale.
Appliances, electronics, paint, propane and other special items
Refrigerators and similar cooling appliances carry a separate fee, while other white-metal appliances are charged differently. Tires, metal and other recoverable streams should be separated before arrival.
Renovation, construction and yard debris
Construction and demolition waste is weighed under its own rate. If the load also contains clean wood or branches, separate those materials because the landfill has different treatment and pricing for some clean organic/wood streams.
