How to dispose of common items in Cochrane
Mattresses, couches and household furniture
The Eco Centre does not accept furniture, mattresses or box springs. Those bulky items need a Calgary landfill or another approved/private disposal route rather than a trip to the Eco Centre.

Renovation, construction and yard debris
Construction waste is not accepted at the Eco Centre. Use a landfill or an approved construction-waste facility for renovation debris.
