Quick answer for Woodstock

1. Furniture disposal without waiting for curbside cleanup
The municipality lists furniture and household furnishings among items not collected in ordinary household garbage. It directs residents to Southern Valley Transfer Station for disposal. Woodstock also advises holding large items for announced large-item cleanup events, but that does not create a standing bulky curbside service.
2. Southern Valley Transfer Station
The regional waste authority lists the station at 147 Moffatt Street in Woodstock Industrial Park, Woodstock, NB E7M 2H5. It publishes Monday–Friday hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with weekends and holidays closed. Call (506) 328-6139 before you drive, especially for mattresses or unusual bulky items.
3. What will it cost?
The regional operator says drop-off fees may apply and instructs residents to call for prices. No current per-mattress or sofa charge is published on the official transfer-station overview. Do not assume disposal is free.
4. Large-item event and construction waste
Municipal cleanup dates and item limits must be checked when announced. The regional transfer station also handles construction and demolition waste with potentially different charges; household hazardous waste and batteries have separate collection routes.
