- Large-item route
- The 2026 bulky-item pickups required registration in May, July or October. Both October registration deadlines have passed (sector A: September 30; sector B: September 23). Do not set out a new request without confirmation; check the regional ecocentre for eligible material.

- Local route
- Granby’s 2026 bulky-item service was registration-only. October deadlines were September 30 (sector A) and September 23 (sector B), so a new registration cannot be assumed available on October 13. Check the regional calendar for future windows or ask about the ecocentre.
- Self-haul option
- The regional residual-material system directs materials to the appropriate ecocentre/recovery stream based on item type; use the “Ça va où?” tool before loading up.

How to dispose of common items in Granby
Mattress and box-spring disposal
Only households registered by their sector’s 2026 deadline should rely on the October bulky collection. Both October deadlines have passed. Otherwise, check a suitable écocentre or the next published collection schedule; do not place unregistered mattresses at the curb.
Appliances and special items
Electronics, appliances and hazardous products can have separate regional recovery programs, so check the item-search result before curbside set-out.
Drywall and renovation debris
Construction debris belongs in the appropriate ecocentre/recovery stream rather than the registered household bulky-item pile.
