How to dispose of common items in Quinte West
Mattresses, couches and household furniture
Furniture and mattresses can use the paid Friday collection after booking. Large items such as mattresses are priced differently from smaller bulky goods, so select the correct item type when purchasing the pickup.
Appliances, electronics, paint, propane and other special items
Appliances have separate collection prices depending on refrigerant. Tires, fuel/oil, propane and hazardous products are excluded from the bulky route and need dedicated recycling/drop-off options.
Renovation, construction and yard debris
Construction and demolition debris is not part of the curbside bulky service. Take project waste to an approved transfer/disposal facility and confirm the material-specific rate.
